But we made the best of it and spent a nice afternoon in the park utilizing Kimball's new gifts and playing with Nantou and the bunny rabbit (that belongs to our friends) who Kimball got to take out on a leash. That night we met up with 3 of Kimball's Aunts and his cousins (his favorite playmates) at this indoor bouncy house type place that has a bunch of inflatable slides and whatnot. It was a little ghetto but we all had so much fun in there. I decided to just keep it family this year as we are still recovering from his "Tol" celebration last March when our house was packed w
Thank you Nantou! Let's go play ball!!
Thanks Aunt dd! You always seem to know just what I'll love
When we got to the park, one of Kimball's best friends Halle was there. The moment he saw her, he spontaneously ran up to her and give her a kiss on the side of her face. It was the most precious thing ever (because he did it on his own) that I asked if he would do it again so I could get a picture. Such a little lady killer.
HAPPY EASTER!
Since the Saturday hunt had been such a flop (I think Kimball got 2 eggs), we decided to conduct our own little hunt for Kimball Sunday morning. Miriam had gone to grab plastic eggs for me that night and 3 stores later, no luck. So, she ended up dyeing my eggs and it turned out very cute, plus no candy inside to rot Kimball's teeth! It was so fun watching him and I got so excited thinking about the many fun years we have ahead to watch our kids get excited over all the simple things in life.
And I just couldn't help but to include this picture of Kimball running into church on Easter Sunday. It's funny how he gets so excited for church each week. I'm so grateful to be the Mother of this amazing little boy whose brought more joy to Erik and my life than we could have ever dreamed possible. We love you Kimo!!!
